Since I haven't updated this thing in FOREVER, I though it might be nice if I did. Plus, I'm really bored and thought that maybe this could be fun! SO.. lots of things have happened since I last updated...

I got into Fordham U at Lincoln Center, and I'll be starting the 28th. Starting with prom, I had my first real relationship... sadly, it'll have to end when I leave for college. The whole move to NYC is really bittersweet... on one hand, i'm super excited to be living there and know it'll be a blast (and especially relieved that i have my brother and two of my best friends also in the city), but on the other hand i'm really sad to see some of my other friends go. one is going to chicago. and two will be in PA. i don't know.. it's going to be hard.. just very different. i'm worried.

Anyway, during my time away from xanga, I've also increased my obsessions with Weezer, Belle & Sebastian, The Decemberists, and Harry Potter. The JD obsession still continues, of course, but I actually wasn't too impressed with Charlie. Still love the man though.

Oh! And i went to London and Paris over spring break.. which was quite possibly the most amazing thing i've ever done. i need to travel more.

and, yay, i graduated (je suis en le droit -- err, yeah, i know, i need to improve my french, but w/e)! :

and saw weezer a couple more times:

and, of course, prom-ed it up:

...and that's about it.. for now !

So I haven't updated in a long time. Um... lots has been happening, I guess. I went to the homecoming dance on Saturday night... which was interesting; it seemed like everyone there was drunk except for me and my friends. here's a pic:

(Hey, guess which one I am! ...or not.. heh)

......I saw Finding Neverland again. That was awesome... of course. It comes out for real on Friday, so I'll probably be seeing it again then (for my 3rd time!). I hear there's a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory preview before Polar Express... ooh exciting.
Things to look forward to: Finding Neverland, NYC on Saturday, Thanksgiving (not soon enough), my b-day on December 3rd, Pixies on December 4th..... uh, Winter break? hmm. Well, and also, the weekends before that... the weekends have been fun, for the most part. I like my friends.... for the most part. I've become much closer with some people this year than ever before. They're cool. yay for friends.
Ooh and Halloween was cool... I went trick-or-treating (no..i'm not too old for that) and I was an evil fairy. people liked my wings. :)

I'm not sure if this is legit, but it excites me nonetheless:

...This was from the Finding Neverland premiere in London yesterday

...cute. Kate Winslet looks sort of different. ...Maybe it's just the hair.

...pregnant?

....Yeah, so, anyway....a brief recap of these past weeks:
-did the AIDS walk (sooo tiring, but fun)
-became more obsessed with the Decemberists
-sent in NYU application (*crosses fingers*)
-doing funnnn hw :(
-watched American Beauty again and refreshed my memory of its greatness
-bought a corset (well, not an authentic one... one from hot topic)
....and that's all i can remember at the moment

There Is A Light That Never Goes Out

"Welcome to the second night of the Bar Mitzvah"
...It was just great. Morrissey changed his shirt like 7 times. He liked to get intimate with himself... he kept feeling his chest.
Throughout the show people came up to the stage and either tried to touch him or hug him... my favorite is when the guys would try to hug him and then not let go. Poor Moz. It was crazy at the end though... so many people were coming on the stage, and eventually chased Morrissey off of it.
Before Moz left, he thanked us for 20 years of support and said goodbye in case he never passes ways with us again. Wow I hope that doesn't happen.
I liked when he was talking about how Michael Moore is very against vegetarians and then commented on how fat he is. I also liked when Moz talked about the Irish opener (who, by the way, was AWESOME because he was Irish) and said he'd make him a vegetarian if it killed him. gooo vegetarians.
There were huge light-up letters reading "MORRISSEY" on the stage... they were cool.
Crowd highlights:
throw-backs from the 70's
old people rocking out to Moz
wannaba Morrissey guy-- same hair and everything
hippie guy in rainbow beanie
...And the best: VAMPIRE GUY-- a super tall guy with long black hair, wearing a long black trench coat. And... the best/scariest part--- he had fangs!

Finding Neverland was great. Just so beautiful. It left people hysterically crying by the end. Johnny's accent was really great and natural. He did a wonderful job portraying the role. The kids were awesome. Kate was good. ...Just great.

ah i loved him as a pirate!

...so school has been O.K. ...sort of. Seeing this movie made me happy, but otherwise i've become very bored with school. ...whatever though. yay Finding Neverland!
